Another movie is being made in Fuerteventura

The German movie director, Klaus Lemke, 76 years old, is one of the most well known directors and has been making independent films for over 45 years.

Most of his movies are low budget, but have achieved great results such as 48 Stunden nach Acapulco, Rocker, Ein komischer Heiliger, Schmutziger Sueden.

His films reflect themes such as the daily routine of a society that is in ruins and riddled with losers and outcast.

In December, the movie director comes back to Fuerteventura to shoot his second film on the island, a dark thriller called ”A story from hell”, the story of a film director searching for his lost daughter that finishes with a very unhappy ending.

To show his gratitude to the island, his first film ever shot in Fuerteventura in 2010 will be shown on 9th December at 8pm in Corralejo’s Auditorium: Tres Cruces for a Bestseller, an 82 minute long dark comedy that was first shown on the German public television channel ZDF in 2014 as well as 2012 at the Vienna Festival and at Filmtage Hof.

Entrance is free and during the projection of the film, the director will shoot scenes with the public present for his next movie.
